A while back I was looking to purchase some light stands for my led Key and Fill lights. I picked up the Ravelli 10′ light stands and they were built like a tank–very supportive. The only problem was the footprint was way to wide for my small office. On the other hand, the Fovitec stands, which are not nearly as heavy duty, had a much smaller foot print and fit in my office much better. Technically the Ravelli is supposed to be air cushioned which should be preferable; however, the air cushioning didn’t work that good; therefore, I did not feel like I was losing too much in going with the spring cushioned Fovitec 7’6″ stands. My Newer Bi-color 660 Led lights are not the most expensive lights, therefore, I felt like I was getting adequate protection for them, especially, since it is really just me using them.
